Join your host Professor Tyina Steptoe as she explores the roots and branches of rhythm and blues music by spotlighting soul music in its various forms – old-school, Quiet Storm, Chicanx soul, Island soul, blue-eyed soul, etc. The program will also highlight important themes in soul music history, and shine a spotlight on the soul music scenes in different places and times.
KXCI is proud to announce the Saturday launch of Soul Stories beginning on January 22nd. Soul Stories had been airing on Monday nights at 10 pm since 2019.
