Since its inception, 91.3 KXCI Community Radio has celebrated Martin Luther King Day. The DJs who are on each year shape the programming with their passion and expertise.

Once again, KXCI will commemorate the life and legacy of The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 17th with special programming from 7 am to 6 pm. Cheron, Minister Johnona, DJ Wesley Rae, and DJ Mookie will pay tribute to Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The day will include music from Black artists, music from the civil rights era, segments from historic King speeches, and more. From 10 to midnight, catch Professor Steptoe’s special MLK edition of Soul Stories.

Hearing Dr. King’s powerful voice and ideas continue to inspire and each year offers an opportunity to reflect upon where we have been, where we are, and where we hope to go together.
