Brianna Henderson, owner and CEO of Harmony Community Healthcare, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), who began working alongside hospice agencies in 2011 and as a hospice social worker in 2012; in 2016 she started the Harmony business. Over the years she has become a leader in the community, delivering innovative programs aimed at filling the gaps in elder health. In the early stages of the COVID 19 pandemic, Brianna recognized a need for a safe, healing space for COVID 19 positive older adults. She established Harmony House with funding from the Pima County Health Department. Harmony House was the only specialized Assisted Living Home in the United States to offer free COVID 19 care in a family friendly, home environment. While building the Community Based Palliative Program, Brianna worked alongside the Palliative team as the assigned social worker to ensure that the program was delivering quality services. She also holds a position with the Regional Leadership Council of the Southern Arizona Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, is the only Arizona signatory of CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion, and is a long-time member of Optimist International.
