We recorded episode 16 of Mn Huna: Finding Refuge in Friendship, just before Melanie & Houda went down to the March Against Racism in downtown Tucson. We had love on our minds. The ways that each of us can make the world a better place by taking care of what is close to us. Even small actions can make a big difference if they’re done with love.

Episode 15: Small Acts Grounded in Love
(AUDIO ON) Episode 15 begins airing on KXCI Community Radio 91.3 today. We recorded it on Sunday, just before Melanie & Houda joined the Tucson March Against White Supremacy And Racism. It's just one year since Houda & her family arrived in Tucson and met Melanie. And in that one year our small choices–to connect across differences, to put our faith in the power of friendship, to show up for each other–have made huge differences in our lives and in the lives around us.As individuals, we cannot change the whole world. But we can make our small part of it better by taking action grounded in love. The rewards of connection heal our hearts. They sustain us through difficulty. Each of us has the power–and the responsibility–to take what action we can. We don't need to wait for someone to tell us what to do. We just need to reach out–and keep reaching out. (KXCI is upgrading their website, and while we wait for our posting access to be updated, we made a little video so you could go ahead and hear the latest episode.
