Houda knows a thing or two about having one’s life upended. About sheltering in place. This isn’t the first time she and her family have spent months in their home, only her father leaving to go look for food. There’s a lot here that is familiar for her. But it’s also very different. This time, staying home could save not only ourselves, but each other.
وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا
To save one life is to save all humanity. ~Quran
