Who are you? And what makes you happy?
I’ll go first.
Who am I?
I am Bridgitte Thum. 5th gen Tucsonan, mother, maker, amusing muse, artist, semi pro chalkboarder, wall painter, can-do problem solver, radio host and producer, comedy writer and performer, plus I like to learn new things all the time, so eventually I will become a master ceramicist, stay tuned.
What makes me Happy?
I had to think about this a lot over the years, and I find it’s a very big question. So I’ll give a very short answer. I’ll answer with a question!
What is happy?
Everything makes me happy. I mean, this life hasn’t been easy-breezy, roses and sunshine every single day, but when it is… I’m happy to be there for it. The good stuff is everywhere, I like to look for beauty everywhere.
If happiness is an internal feeling, then I would say that I am happy when I feel safe, hopeful, and helpful.
If happiness is something external and environmental then I’d say that good friends, laughter, music and dancing are my favorites.
