We’re coming at you this week with another live, in-studio performance from a couple of local artists. This week, producers Halsero and Lugo from the Tucson Hip Hop Festival are joining us in Studio 2A for an hour of music and conversation. The show is hosted this week by Matt Milner.
The Tucson Hip Hop Festival (THHF) will be happening from March 6-9 in a variety of locations. The driving force behind the festival is the education of artists and providing resources for those in the business of the art. Additionally, there are workshops, panel discussions, and networking events.
The festival is passionately focused on the community. Most of the festival is made up of local artists and innovators on the come-up or already on the up-and-up! They envision themselves continuing to grow and expand with each passing year, becoming more than a local showcase. Their goal is to become one of the most prominent Hip Hop cultural and community events in the country!
