Pedaling the Pueblo – Cyclovia Returns to La Doce
Cyclovia Tucson – an all ages, free event happening twice per year in different parts of town – is returning to the popular La Doce route on Sunday, October 27th. La doce is the colloquial term for the bustling business district located along. S. 12th Ave. from roughly 1-19 to Valencia, but the route will take place from w. 39th St. to Mission Manor Park just south of Drexel Road.
In this episode, we chat with bicycle shop owner Noe Mencias who has been conducting business outreach along S. 12th Ave. since the summer. Noe talks about what he’s learned from business owners in the area and what he’s most excited about for the next event.
