It’s celebration time! Houda got her driver’s license!
Last September, Melanie started teaching Houda how to drive–the first woman in her immediate family to do so. (She has an aunt in Lebanon who also drives.) And this month, Houda passed her test!
When we recorded this episode, we joked that it wouldn’t be long before Houda would be driving the five minutes between our houses to come visit Melanie. Well, today as we are posting this episode, we have plans for Houda to drive her sister and mom to Melanie’s house to learn how to make nachos—a new culinary delicacy for Houda’s family.
And Houda has a KXCI bumpersticker on her car!
