My name is Catherine Weibel. I am a junior in Physics and Applied Math at the University of Arizona. I work as an undergraduate research assistant in the Masel Lab on the bioinformatics and protein evolution teams, with a primary focus on time-directional trends in protein evolution. Following completion of my undergraduate education, I intend to pursue a Ph.D. in Mathematical Biology or Biophysics. In my free time I can be found practicing aikido with my mother and dojo, battling Bach violin partitas, or dozing on the sofas in Life Sciences South.
