For this ORO VALLEY CONCERT SERIES night of live music, enjoy an evening of Jazz music performed by Larry Redhouse Trio from 5-8 PM at Westward Look’s Santa Catalina Ballroom.
A dinner will be offered through the evening for $65, This is a multi-coursed dinner with a special jazz inspired menu, served in the ballroom. Reservations can be made through Open Table or calling 520.297.1151.ext 474. There will be a bar located in the ballroom.
The Redhouse Family, members of the Navajo Nation are known as Arizona’s Native American first family of jazz. Their music is influenced by Latin, fusion, contemporary jazz, funk and Traditional Native American sounds and spirituality. The group focuses on many original compositions and some hip arrangements of modern jazz classics.
Members of the band have been nominated for Grammy Awards and have received Native American Music Awards. The band consists of Larry Redhouse (piano) Lenny Redhouse (drums) Mary Redhouse (bass, vocals) Tony Redhouse (congas, percussion) Duane Reilley (tenor sax, flute)
