For the first time since 2018 the Atomic Age Cinema Fest aka international uranium film festival has a 2024 US tour. Tucson dates are March 12 & 13, live at The Screening Room, 127 E. Congress. Public parking available on same block at Scott and Pennington.
Film Director Mark Shapiro will be present after his film “Downwinders” 2023, 95 min is screened Tuesday March 12.
Other films include : “Radioactive: The Women of Three MIle Island” 2023, 77 minutes on March 12 4 pm.
A seies of awesome shorts will occur Wednesday at 3 pm.
All screenings are free and cash donations requested for the travelling festival organizers from Brazil: Marcia Gomes de la Oliviera and Norbert Suchanek.
