For those who don’t know, our gut microbiome (the bacteria living in our guts) influences so much of our health and wellbeing- physically and emotionally. Interestingly, most of our gut microbiota and immune system are established in-utero, during birth, and in the first year of life. Thus establishing an appropriate array of gut bacteria early on is crucial not only for individual health but for the health of populations. While achieving perfection (in the microbial sense) is impossible, we invite you to learn how you can support yourself and one another in creating the best foundation for your gut microbiota and immune system.
