Artist and author Kristin Hersh has been creating adventurous and subversive work in many mediums since she formed her first band Throwing Muses in 1980. Between the Muses, the later band 50 Foot Wave, and her solo works, she has released more than two dozen albums, including her latest solo release, “Possible Dust Clouds.” She’s previously collaborated with everyone from Grant Lee Phillips and Michael Stipe to Tucson’s own Howe Gelb. She is also the author of seven books, including her own critically-acclaimed memoir Rat Girl and a heartbreakingly beautiful biography of her late friend Vic Chesnutt. To have her perform on The Home Stretch on KXCI was a true honor. Produced + hosted by Hannah Levin, engineered by Björgvin Benediktsson, shot + edited by Julius Schlosburg, camera assist by Sophie Gibson-Rush.
