Research Matters is a program hosted and produced by Bridgitte Thum at KXCI Community Radio. We meet with student academic researchers to discuss what is new in their particular field. They give us a behind-the-scenes look into the groundbreaking work that they are doing in Tucson and beyond. We get to know them personally and professionally. Making connections in our community, exploring new ideas, and sharing innovative inspirations is what we do, and we do it in 3 minutes!
Special thanks to all who make this program possible. This includes Jennifer Cuebeta and Quinn Reilly from the University of Arizona’s Undergraduate Biology Research Program (UBRP) for consistently connecting us with guests and bringing them into our station.
Thanks to Jillian Bessett for providing the intro and outro music, a custom instrumental version of The Kids Will Be Fine from her beautiful album JOY.
And of course, special thanks to our listeners for their financial gifts of support. We couldn’t do it without you!
