I could have jabbered on forever (you probably noticed) and still not have mentioned all the wonderful things happening now in the uplands as spring heads toward summer.
The photos are mine and I’m showing great restraint in not posting 25 or 30 photos. That’s Ms. Mesquitey under the mentioned magnificent mesquite. Then a hedgehog flower, the local desert willow flowers, and a cane cholla with some prickle poppies around it…I could post more, but I’m stopping.
Tucsonan Scott Calhoun is an excellent plants man. You may like his book The Gardener’s Guide to Cactus, The 100 Best Paddles, Barrels, Columns and Globes. I do.
