Bucking broncos, wild spirit horses, cowboys, along with buffalo, pronghorn and much more. Western Visions, interpreted in photographs, colored pencil, paintings, wood and fused glass, are coming to the Tucson Jewish Community Center (JCC) to remind you of the Wild West and get you in the mood for the rodeo.
Some 14 artists of the Tucson Mountains Artist Collective, TMAC (Tee-mack), will be showing their work from February 1 to March 10. You’re welcome to come and meet them at the show’s opening at the JCC on Sunday, February 11, from 2 to 3:30 p.m.
TMAC is a loose group of artists whose studios are in and around the Tucson Mountains. Besides their personal experiences, they draw their creative inspiration – and sometimes materials – from their desert home, along with the intense light, color and nature of the desert landscape.
The JCC is located at 3800 E. River Road in Tucson.
