Día de los Muertos Celebración en Nuestro Jardín

Join us on Sunday, November 2nd to celebrate Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, in Tucson Botanical Gardens’ beloved Nuestro Jardín, our Barrio Garden.

Enjoy festive floral displays and an ofrenda, a community altar to honor the lives of family and friends who have passed. Plus, mariachi and puppet performances, and festive educational programming for the whole family. This event is included with admission.

FAMILY ACTIVITIES 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Decorating calaveras de azúcar (sugar skulls), La Calavera Catrina face painting, and Monarch & Milkweed butterfly seed bursts.

MARIACHI AND CALAVERA CATRINA PUPPETS PERFORMANCE 12:00 PM TO 1:00 PM IN THE PAVILLION Music by Las Azaleas and puppet show by Red Herring Puppets.
