Celebrating a tiny fraction America’s Musical Heritage in one concert, Voices in the Oaks Chorale will highlight a traditional western folk song, something from Broadway, some gospel, a little jazz, and even a piece by the first African American woman to be recognized as a symphonic composer. And with our concert landing on Veteran’s Day weekend, we will honor the major branches of the Armed Forces with a Patriotic Salute and Martin Luther King Jr. with Bono’s profound piece performed by U2 “MLK”.
