Registration is now open for KXCI’s Youth Live DJ Camp, happening Saturday and Sunday, June 28th and 29th from 1-4 pm. This special weekend workshop is open to youth ages 13–17 and introduces participants to the fundamentals of live DJing.
This introductory workshop is a 2-day course that will provide students all of the fundamentals of live DJing. Topics to be covered include everything from CD and vinyl beat matching, equipment and sound setup, and phrasing to basic scratch techniques and how to count music. You’ll also learn how to legally find and download music, as well as proper DJ etiquette.
