On Sunday, March 8th, join KXCI in celebrating International Women’s Day. KXCI DJs will take you on a musical journey that explores and celebrates the strength, struggles, and empowering solidarity of women, non-binary people, and femme-identifying people. They’ll play music from many genres, including classic favorites and the newest artists, and will be followed by KXCI’s Sunday Public Affairs programming, highlighting women. Throughout the day, they’ll weave in brief interviews and share community voices. These insightful interviews were conducted at KXCI’s Armory Park Studios by KXCI’s Production Manager, Bridgitte Thum. The segments will focus on this year’s theme from UN Women Rights. Justice. Action. Sunday at 5 pm, KXCI youth DJs on the Future of Radio will feature women, non-binary persons, and femme-identifying artists in their music selections. Join us for a full day of diverse programming designed to inspire, celebrate, and activate. Tune in to 91.3 FM or stream at KXCI.org.
