Club Congress Weekend August 28 – September 1, 2025 – KXCI Presents!

Five days of parties, concerts, and activities that focus on community featuring an array of experiences that showcase the vibrant subcultures, entertainers, and events that have made Club Congress a Tucson landmark. From puppet musicals to Boots & Cats, from Los Yesterdays to Yuno, from the Rock Lottery to the Record Fair, there’s a show (or five) here for you! Club Congress Weekend returns for Labor Day: a five day extravaganza for the discerning cultural consumer, with puppets, bands, troubadours, vinyl records, low riders, a mechanical bull, and lots lots more.

*CLICK FOR CONTEST RULES* The deadline to enter is through noon on Wednesday, August 27th.  The winners of (1) pair of tickets will be selected at random (one entry per person). Ticket winners will be put on the guest list for a weekend pass and must present ID at the venue box office on a night of the festival to gain entry. Winners will be notified to the email address entered in the contest after the deadline and drawing.

Club Congress is thrilled to announce the return of the 2nd Annual Club Congress Weekend, named for the official declaration of such by the State of Arizona and Governor Janet Napolitano in 2005. This “five smaller shindigs in a giant shindig trenchcoat” all goes down from Thursday, August 28 through Monday, September 1, 2025. A five-day celebration of music, art, and community will take over the entire Hotel Congress property, with live performances, immersive experiences, and local collaborations (like with community radio KXCI for the Tucson Rock Lottery – more below).

Kick off the weekend with a sci-fi rock musical performed entirely by puppets! Oregon’s Puppeteers For Fears bring their cult hit to Tucson.

Welcome back, Wildcats! Celebrate the start of the school year with a massive multi-venue party featuring DJs, local vendors, giveaways, go-go dancers, and a MECHANICAL BULL. Boots optional, good vibes required.

Browse, buy, and swap vinyl from Southern Arizona’s finest collectors and shops. Free and open to all! Grab a Bloody Mary and dig through crates while DJs spin deep cuts.

6PM–10PM @ Hotel Congress Plaza
25 local musicians randomly form new bands at 9AM, write three originals and one cover, and perform them live that evening — all in under 12 hours! A celebration of Tucson’s creative spirit, with proceeds benefiting KXCI Community Radio.

Sub Pop artist Yuno brings his genre-blending debut Blest to Tucson, mixing dream-pop, trap, and psychedelia. Joined by rising indie-pop act Windser, this show promises an emotional and sonic journey.

5PM–9PM @ Hotel Congress Plaza & Maynards Parking Lot
Classic cars, lowriders, trophies, and more! Kick back with Dos Vidas Car Club and enjoy the ride.

7PM @ Congress Plaza | Tickets: $20–$35
Chicano soul from Los Angeles, blending sweet soul ballads with deep cultural roots. A heartfelt tribute to the oldies and the spirit of the Southland.

8PM–Midnight @ Club Congress | Free | Ages 21+
Dark cumbia goth all night long. Come dance in the shadows.

6:30PM–8:30PM @ Hotel Congress Plaza
A Tucson legend returns to close out the weekend with a soulful, poetic performance under the stars.

7PM @ Club Congress | Tickets: $20 Advance
Psychedelic dream-pop meets surreal desert glam. SPACEFACE brings cosmic grooves, while Jesika Von Rabbit delivers mind-bending art-pop. Kulululu kicks off the night with experimental energy.
