Friday 6pm-8pm

Inside/Out features music made by, for, and about the LGBTQ+ community. Join host DJ El Toro Fridays 6p-8p for spontaneous dance parties, brief historical segments, local and national guests, and plenty of good vibes to kick off your Friday Night.
DJ El Toro is the alter-ego of author and entertainer Kurt B. Reighley. Prior to moving to Tucson in 2016, he was an on-air personality at 90.3 FM KEXP Seattle and co-host of the long-running party “The World’s Tiniest Tea Dance.” Celebrating 25 years on the decks in 2022, he has played with LBGTQ+ notables including the B-52’s, Village People, Scissor Sisters, and Dina Martina.
“Growing up in a small town in Virginia, music was my salvation, but it made me crazy that I didn’t see and hear gays, lesbians and trans folx in the media. Representation and visibility matter, and I’ve witnessed so much progress in my lifetime. When my DJ career began in 1997, it still took a ton of work to cobble together an hour or two of cool queer programming. Today, there are more opportunities than ever to amplify a wide range of LGBTQ+ voices across myriad genres of music, and I’m grateful to KXCI for providing a platform for all of us.”
