Amber Labahe, Diabetes Prevention Specialist at Tucson Indian Center. Amber is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation representing her Mother’s Towering House clan and Father’s Cliff Dwellers or Honey-combed People clan. Amber has experience working with the Special Diabetes Program for Indians for two years, serving the Indigenous community through health education and wellness outreach. She is passionate about supporting her Indigenous community and providing diabetes-related education and prevention.
