🎙📻KXCI’s education team recently visited The Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind, where we had the opportunity to record shows with students on campus. 🎤🎶In this episode, Angel shares the music of Conjunto Primavera, a Mexican norteño-sax band from Ojinaga, Chihuahua. Angel’s favorite song is Mexico Ra Ra Ra! 💖🌵📣

Hi, I’m Angel Rojas Torres I am from Puerto Vallarta. I was born in 2003 and I go to ASDB here in Tucson. I’m talking about Conjunto Primavera Band.

Hola soy Angel Rojas Torres soy de Puerto Vallarta. Nací en 2003 y voy a ASDB aquí en Tucson. Estoy hablando del Conjunto Primavera Banda.

My favorite song, by Conjunto Primavera es México Ra Ra Ra. I like that one so much because I like the lyrics & I like to listen to it for fun. Even on a recording device. I like to record music on different kinds of recording devices like a voice recorder, a phone a victor reader, or a braille sense. Conjunto Primavera is a norteno style band. It was formed in 1978 by Juan Dominguez, a saxophone player. They have recorded a lot of Spanish songs such as “TeLlore”, “Mexico Ra Ra Ra” and “Me Nortie.” Some instruments they use are saxophone, guitars, electric, keyboard & drums.

I’m Angel Rojas, Thanks for listening to KXCI! This has been Bonus Tracks.
