Katlyn Monje is a Licensed Master Social Worker and Clinical Director at the Southern Arizona Center Against Sexual Assault, a division of CODAC Health, Recovery & Wellness. Katlyn oversees staff, contractors, interns and volunteers who fulfill roles as crisis advocates, forensic nurse examiners, and therapists. Katlyn leads the Pima County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) and sits on numerous task forces to improve access to care, victims’ services, and restorative justice initiatives. Her previous experience includes overseeing addiction outreach services with CODAC’s substance use disorder treatment team, working with children in the behavioral health residential setting, with Councilwoman Regina Romero (now Mayor of the City of Tucson) and city constituents at the Tucson City Council, and with military members at the Veterans Administration. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arizona and her master’s degree in social work from Arizona State University.
