Excerpts from a December 2014 panel discussion convened by the YWCA Tucson called Prison Policy: A Crime Against Our Community. Today’s speaker is Tom Litwicki, CEO of Old Pueblo Community Services whose mission is to support those in our community who are currently struggling with addiction, homelessness, and mental health concerns, by providing dignified supportive housing options, behavioral health counseling, employment coaching and peer support. He describes his own work within corrections, some history of US and Arizona prison policy, and some of the work that Old Pueblo Community services is doing here in Tucson. This is part two of a multi part series. Special thanks to Hilary Eshelman for recording this presentation. Up first, an introduction by YWCA Board Member Diane Wilson, followed by Tom Litwicki.

Edited and produced by Amanda Shauger
