Jeb Schoonver was KXCI Community Radio Promotions Director at the station in the late 80’s. He also had a weekly radio show called the Country Crossroads. So in honor of this special occasion he will be sitting in on Ruby’s Roadhouse with his friend and host Carol Anderson (pictured here with me and station founder Paul Bear) this Saturday 12-2pm MST. You can listen in Tucson at 91.3 FM or online at KXCI.org.
They will be spinning lots of great honkytonk, country soul and southwest flavors. He has met or interviewed the likes of Bill Monroe (pictured here), Emmylou Harris, Rodney Crowell, Guy Clark, John Prine, Jerry Jeff Walker, Peter Rowan, Delbert McClinton, New Grass Revival, Lyle Lovett, and too many more to mention. Long Live KXCI Radio, and hope you can listen this Saturday.
