Gina Gillis is the Special Events Manager for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) covering both Arizona and New Mexico. She has a long history in the nonprofit sector, including local organizations such as SARSEF and Tucson Wildlife Center. Gina began volunteering for AFSP following losing her 26-year-old son to suicide in 2015 and entered her new role with the organization in 2022. Gina lives in Tucson with her two dogs, Booda & Nala, and is an active part of the local punk music community.
