Charles Pyle is a graduate of Stanford University and the University of Arizona College of Law. He practiced law in Tucson for 27 years with Southern Arizona Legal Aid, The Civil Division of the Pima County Attorney’s Office and the Liability Management Section of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. From 2001-2018, Pyle served as a United States Magistrate Judge, primarily in Tucson and for 6 months in Flagstaff. In retirement, Judge Pyle is heavily involved in supporting the missions of two nonprofits, Second Chance Tucson and AcuWellness5NP. He hopes that expanding no-barrier access to ear acupuncture for addiction and trauma will help people recover from behavioral health issues and avoid recurrent justice-system involvement.
