From KXCI Tucson, this is Bonus Tracks. I am Mr. Cat, and I want to talk about Frank Sinatra, other than his fame. I discovered Frank Sinatra just by browsing through my local internet. I was trying to find something to listen to, and I was like, hmm, Frank Sinatra. Haven’t heard of this guy before. Played some of his music, then I was his fan.

Because I loved his music, I wanted to find out more about him, and I’m gonna share my findings with you. What was his, like, personal life like? As a baby, Frank had a tough life. Frank was blue and unresponsive, so they thought he was dead. But his grandmother ran him under cold water and slapped his back. Then he eventually came back to life and started breathing.

He was also an advocate for civil rights. He was a close friend to John F. Kennedy. Frank also refused to have a stage name all of his life. He died in 1998 in Los Angeles. His last words were, I’m losing. I’m Mr. Cat.
