During this 2016 election season, Democracy Now!’s Amy Goodman, David Goodman and Denis Moynihan are on a North American speaking tour to mark the 20th anniversary of the daily, independent, global TV/Radio news hour with a new book titled Democracy Now!: Twenty Years Covering the Movements Changing America by Amy Goodman, with David Goodman and Denis Moynihan.
In 1996, acclaimed independent journalist and bestselling author Amy Goodman began hosting a show on Pacifica Radio called Democracy Now! to cover the 1996 election. KXCI first began broadcasting Democracy Now! in October 1998. Democracy Now! currently airs weekdays at noon.
