Cam Solorio Juarez is the son of migrant farm workers, a first generation Tucsonan, community activist, urban panner, Latino engagement consultant, dad and a Park Ranger at Saguaro National Park.
In this episode he talks to us about his introduction to bikes, how they gave him freedom and how he needs to modify them to better fit his needs. Cam has a congenital birth defect, which was caused by his mother’s exposure to herbicides as a farm worker in California. Because of this, he has smaller arms and needs to modify his bikes to be closer to his body.
He credits many local organizations as fueling him to continue biking in community and looks forward to doing it for a long time.
