Join the University of Arizona School of Music woodwind faculty for an evening of dynamic and diverse works for reed quintet. Experience the unique timbral world of this colorful ensemble, from intricate counterpoint to bold new sonorities. The inaugural program of the Arizona Reed Quintet spans centuries and styles, featuring music by Renaissance master Josquin des Prez, contemporary innovators Becky Turro and Octavio Vázquez, and genre-blending composer Jeff Scott.

Experience the unique timbral world of the reed quintet—oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bass clarinet, and bassoon—as performed by the School of Music’s faculty. From intricate counterpoint to bold new sonorities, this performance offers something for every listener.
