Tucson Flute Club Spring Concert: Nature’s Stories

SUPPORT

Tucson Flute Club presents the Southern Arizona Flute Orchestra. The concert, titled “Nature’s Stories,” will feature programmatic music exploring nature and the stories we tell through it. Each piece will paint an image of the natural world. Particularly noteworthy are For Love of Swans, written in memory of Tucson Flute Club’s founder Philip Swanson, and Southwestern Sketches, which was written for Tucson Flute Club and premiered on our 50th Anniversary concert in 2020. The group will be conducted by Jack Schmidgall, Music Director. The public is warmly invited. Admission is free, with donations appreciated.
