Reception for group exhibition exploring the complexity of the human experience through representations of the body, identity, vulnerability, and desire. Featuring paintings, drawings, prints, and photographs that offer poetic, raw, and sometimes unsettling reflections on the surfaces and spaces we inhabit, both physical and emotional. Invited guest artists Miguel Caseo (from Mexico City) and Ramón Sanmiquel (who lives and works between Spain and Oaxaca), join artists from the collections of Dan Leach and Douglas Nielsen featuring Bailey Doogan, Craig Cully, Joel-Peter Witkin, Gérard Beringer and Pedro Meyer. Additional contributions come from George Strasburger, Shen Wen, and others whose work investigates the human form and lived experience.
