For the past three years, the Monterey Court Song Circle (1st & 3rd Sundays) has become a beloved Tucson musical tradition, welcoming more than one hundred unique performers to share their original music. When there’s an occasional open Sunday in the Monterey Court Brunch Concert schedule, we select several standout musicians from the Song Circle community to create a special showcase. These concerts were very well received, and we’re pleased to present the sixth in the series.

In 2 previous concerts, the opening musician played a set and then stayed on stage to accompany anyone who wished. It turned out everyone loved having that extra texture and support — so we’re doing it again. Chris Davis, guitarist extraordinaire, will start the show and be available to accompany performers throughout the concert.
Make it a full Sunday morning by enjoying the Monterey Court Brunch Menu, which includes favorites such as Eggs Benedict, Southwestern Omelette, Veggie Omelette, a classic BLT, the Brunch Burrito, and the popular Monty Cristo — thick French toast layered with ham and cheese, topped with soft-poached eggs and house-made hollandaise, served with real maple syrup. Also available are the Monterey Quesadilla and other brunch and lunch items.
This concert brings together some of the finest musicians who have emerged from the Song Circle community, presented in a warm, welcoming setting. It’s a relaxed way to ease into the day: good music, good food, and good company on a beautiful Tucson Sunday morning.
