Spend a relaxing day outdoors at the Zoo. Enjoy free sampling of bird-friendly coffee from Wood Warblers coffee (while supplies last), then pick up a bag for home in the Zoo Gift Shop. Meet ambassador animals up-close, and don’t forget to join in on zoo keeper habitat chats and animal enrichment demonstrations throughout the day to see how the Zoo cares for animals of all ages. Interested in desert-friendly gardening and plants? Nicci Radhe of Horny Toad Horticulture will be sharing her knowledge of gardening and giving out succulents, cuttings and seeds. At noon, join us in the Event Garden for a concert by Arizona Opera who will be performing songs from popular operas — including some with animal themes.
