New Tucson indie project Eros Hum is celebrating their upcoming record “Sowngit Fong Da Belte” with a free preview listening party and live chat on November 6th! Official release will be November 13th.
Inspired by the worlds of The Expanse (both the books and the TV show) and a fascination with the Lang Belta creole language developed for the show, Eros Hum imagines music as might be made by Belters. From a hazy/dreamy/shoegazey interplanetary love song to high energy party music for cheering on your favorite slingshotter or chilling to some world beats blended with voices picked up from post-protomolecule Eros Station, we explore different sonic flavors of The Belt.
Chat will open at 6pm. Music starts at 6:30pm and runs about 30 minutes.
Eros Hum is Thom Martin (Apocalypso, Sierra Vista Symphony Orchestra, Wight Lhite, Things That Aren’t Words, Silver Cloud Express) with help from Thom Yanochko.
