World Premier Miss. O'Dell

Don’t miss the new documentary Miss O’Dell, detailing Tucsonan Chris O’Dell’s adventures in rock and roll with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and more! On opening night, Friday, April 11, enjoy live music from Miss O’Dell’s Dream Team Band on The Loft Cinema stage from 6:15 pm – 7:30 pm, followed by the World Premiere of Miss O’Dell at 7:30 pm, and a post-film Q&A with Chris O’Dell!

Chris O’Dell’s whirlwind adventure in the world of rock and roll took her from a chance meeting with publicist Derek Taylor to working with The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, and other legendary artists. This documentary takes viewers backstage into the untold stories of sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll from the woman who lived it all. (Dir. by Simon Weitzman, 2025, USA, 121 mins., Not Rated)

Chris O’Dell is a former music industry insider known for her work as a tour manager, personal assistant, and confidante to some of the biggest rock stars of the 1960s and 1970s. Born in the U.S., she moved to London and became one of the few women to work behind the scenes in rock and roll, securing a job at Apple Corps, The Beatles’ company. She was in the studio during the recording of The White Album, Abbey Road, and Let It Be, and she even sang in the chorus of Hey Jude when Paul McCartney recorded the iconic track. O’Dell later worked closely with The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Queen, Fleetwood Mac and Linda Ronstadt, among others. She was also the inspiration for the song Miss O’Dell by George Harrison. She currently lives in Tucson, Arizona.

Miss O’Dell will continue its regular engagement at The Loft Cinema with daily showings through Thursday, April 17.
