Chris O’Dell is a former music industry insider known for her work as a tour manager, personal assistant, and confidante to some of the biggest rock stars of the 1960s and 1970s. Born in the U.S., she moved to London and became one of the few women to work behind the scenes in rock and roll, securing a job at Apple Corps, The Beatles’ company. She was in the studio during the recording of The White Album, Abbey Road, and Let It Be, and she even sang in the chorus of Hey Jude when Paul McCartney recorded the iconic track. O’Dell later worked closely with The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Queen, Fleetwood Mac and Linda Ronstadt, among others. She was also the inspiration for the song Miss O’Dell by George Harrison. She currently lives in Tucson, Arizona.
