“If I’m not doing something that terrifies me, it’s not worth it.” Whether she’s headlining a New York cabaret, crushing fitness goals, baking a perfect batch of cranberry–white chocolate biscotti, or diving into true-crime podcasts, Liz Cracchiolo lives by this mantra. Liz has always gravitated toward challenges.
Liz Cracchiolo is a jazz vocalist and storyteller whose warm, luminous voice and magnetic stage presence have made her a standout in Southern Arizona’s music scene. Known as “the Bombshell Next Door,” she brings an intimate, emotionally direct style to every performance, drawing audiences into the lyric with a blend of vulnerability, wit, and sophistication.
Originally trained in musical theatre at the University of Arizona, Cracchiolo built a celebrated stage career with award-winning performances in productions including Closer Than Ever, Les Misérables, The Producers, Mamma Mia!, and Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Her creative partnership with Broadway performer and vocal coach Ellyn Marsh later led to two New York cabaret shows, If Only I Were Taller and I Do Men, and performances at storied venues including The Duplex and Laurie Beechman Theatre.
Now fully devoted to jazz, Cracchiolo has become a regular performer at Tucson’s Century Room and a three-time nominee for Best Jazz Artist in the Tucson Weekly Best of Tucson poll. In 2025 she recorded her debut album in New York City at the legendary Sear Sound with GRAMMY-winning engineer Dave Darlington. Titled “Just a Girl I’m a Woman”, the album blends classic standards with pop songs reimagined through a jazz lens and will be released in fall 2026.
