I|AM: Muxes, S/He, HIM, Family: Graciela Iturbide, Vittorio D’Onofri, Liz Cohen, Jess T. Dugan and poetry by TC Tolbert
“I|AM : Muxe’s, S/He, Him, Family” is an exhibit that celebrates trans culture through the works of both historical and contemporary artists from the United States and Mexico. Featuring photography by Graciela Iturbide, Vittorio D’Onofri, Liz Cohen and Jess T. Dugan, alongside the poetry of TC Tolbert, the exhibit explores diverse perspectives on gender identity. It highlights historical views from Mexico and modern expressions of trans identities today, aiming to humanize and celebrate individuals who have transcended societal boundaries.
