A two day event involving the Safe Surrender of unwanted guns and a forging demonstration of gun metal into garden tools, art objects and jewelry.
April 12, 2025, 9 -12 noon. The voluntary and anonymous safe surrender of unwanted (and unloaded) guns which will be chop-sawed into metal fragments. An appreciation $50 grocery voucher will be given to first 15 donors.

April 13, 2025 11:30am – 1:30 pm. A forging demonstration of the gun metal tools, and art will be done by Scotty Utz, an experienced blacksmith from North Carolina, also a “Peace Smith” with the international organization “Forging for Peace.” (No guns will be collected on Sunday — only on Saturday)
