Garden Talk: Monsoon Gardening

SUPPORT

Active monsoon seasons provide a welcome relief after the hot, dry and windy days of May and June. In the garden, our plants will be happier, lusher and slightly easier to tend. This time of year also provides a very interesting 5th planting season for the stalwart among us. There are a couple of ways to think of monsoon gardening, but there is something in this practice for every gardener. In this talk we’ll learn what drives our monsoon, why it is our 5th planting season and how to benefit from this special time in the Sonoran Desert.

Presented by Pima County Master Gardeners from the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension.
