About Freddy & Francine
The joyful, raucous, and tender sounds of Freddy & Francine routinely raise rafters from Hollywood to New York City, all the way from Nashville to their adopted home of Tucson, Arizona. Whether appearing as an acoustic power duo or with a full four-piece band in tow, F&F reveals visceral virtuosity, immediate charm, and a soulful, folksy heart of gold to adoring audiences large and small, seemingly wherever they go.
The origin story of Freddy & Francine, Lee Ferris and Bianca Caruso, begins in 2008 on a stage in Los Angeles, where they met performing a revival of Hair, the quintessential manifesto of the American ‘60s. Ferris and Caruso began writing and performing together, developing a reputation for an intense onstage chemistry and the undeniable earworms they were creating together. Seven albums and fifteen years of touring later, Freddy & Francine are an institution, having shared stages with Idina Menzel, Jeff Chimenti (Dead & Co.), Katherine McPhee, Mary Gauthier, Sarah Lee Guthrie, Steve Poltz, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Spin Doctors, Amy Helm, JJ Grey and many others, winning hearts and minds across the country and earning the heartfelt sentiment of instant fans everywhere: We effin’ love F&F.
