Vanessa Myers is a professional harpist, based in Tucson. She studied classical harp privately with Susan Brown, primary harpist for the renowned Ventana Room at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson. Included in her studies were pop and jazz performance, improvisation, and arranging for the harp. She plays a gorgeous-sounding acoustic Celtic harp with optional amplification, tailoring her sound for a specific gig or music genre, and stands out as a harpist by being one of a few people in the United States playing jazz professionally on a lever harp. Currently she plays ambient harp in a variety of music styles. Come out to hear the terrific sound of the harp while viewing the beautiful artwork on display in the gallery!
