The Fall Ikebana Festival is here. This bi-annual event, held in spring and fall since 2013, is one of the most popular at Yume Japanese Gardens.
Dating back to the 15th century, Ikebana, also known as “The Way of the Flowers”, is the meditative art of Japanese floral arrangements, embodying the essence of taste, beauty, and oneness with nature. During the Festival, traditional and contemporary artworks will be presented by local artists that will showcase interesting variations in techniques and styles of five major Ikebana schools. A variety of floral arrangements will be displayed in original handmade Japanese vases throughout the Gardens.
The Fall Ikebana festival runs 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, October 21-24 & 28-31, 2021.
Timed admission tickets, purchased online, are required for entry. General admission: $16 adults – Children under 15: $5 – Members: $10
