Diaspora Showcase Africa presents its 21st annual production with “Drummers and Dancers,” featuring a stunning cast of master drummers and 4-Time Grammy-Award winner percussionist, Munyungo Jackson, iconic djembe drummer, Alioune Faye from Senegal and Talking drum impresario, Rasaki Aladokun from Nigeria.

Created by Kwevi Quaye in 2004, this unique show, has amassed a following, throughout the United States and globally with its thematic entertainment series of presenting Africa, through fashion, music, dance and culinary arts in a memorable entertainment format.

Featured fashion collections are by award-winning designers, Kwame Koranteng from Ghana, Maria Adeeko (Nigeria), Mahlet Afewok (Ethiopia), and Farouque Abdela (Tanzania/Zanzibar), jewelries by Samuel Mayo of Ardapony, styling by Elvia Arevalo, hair and makeup by Lilli Akuete from Togo.
