Teaming up with his wife and creative partner RizLa, the duo forms CHKLZ, a high-voltage indie-dance/electronic act blending live percussion, glitchy synths, and immersive visuals. Their newest chapter? The Going the Distance Tour, kicking off August 1 and running through September 27, 2025.
Far from Ned Flanders cosplay and mosh pits, CHKLZ has traded in mustaches for modulars, blending high-energy EDM, glitchy synths, thunderous live percussion, and immersive visuals into a euphoric, rave-ready experience. This is music for fans of LCD Soundsystem, Hot Chip, and Chk Chk Chk, but with an added layer of raw, live intensity that only a metalhead-turned-rave-master could deliver.
Tour stops include Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Ohio, Indiana, Tennessee, and Texas, ranging from sweaty club shows to festival stages. Each performance will feature upgraded visuals, new synth layers, trippy percussion, bigger drums, louder everything, and a message of human (and animal) connection: $1 from every ticket and merch item sold goes to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
