On Wednesday, Oct. 29, students enrolled in the University of Arizona Eller College of Management’s Intro to Marketing class will be treated to a special presentation by guest speaker Tanya Dreesen.
Dreesen is the senior VP of strategy and global affairs and chief of staff for the Chicago Bears. She is entering her second season with the organization.
In this capacity, she works closely with President and CEO Kevin Warren to positively impact the strategic direction of the organization, navigating complex global landscapes and ensuring alignment between executive vision and operational objectives on the local, national and international scale. Dreesen provides leadership over the club’s stadium development project as well as all operations and movements related to international activation, maximizing the Chicago Bears’ international commercial business and enhancing the organization’s global footprint.
Prior to this role, Dreesen spent 15 years with the Minnesota Vikings, most recently serving as vice president of partnership activation, events and special projects. She has also held leadership and management marketing roles for several news services outlets, including The Toronto Sun, The Toronto Star, The Minneapolis Star Tribune, The Denver Post and The Rocky Mountain News.
She is set to speak in the Berger Auditorium from 9:30-10:45 a.m. and again at 12:30-1:45 p.m. Media are invited to attend one of these sessions and interview Dreesen, a representative of Eller and students for news stories and television segments.
